Subject: hop harvest
Lovers of alll things hoppy!!,
It looks like this Saturday will be the marathon harvesting session of the hops destined for Founders Brewery in Grand Rapids. If you all recall, this is for the beer they make known as Harvest Ale. The hops need to all come off in one day so they can be taken to the brewery without drying. The more volunteers we have the faster this will all go. Remember, this includes all the beer you can drink! If you have a buddy who is interested in learning the beer business from the ground up, bring ‘em along. We will start around 9ish. Please let me know if you can make it so if I don’t have enough pickers I can work on a back up plan. Thanks.

Summer Bash Saturday August 14th, fun starts around 12 or so. Dinner around 4 or so. Jockey Box will be available on a first come first served basis. Bring a dish or two to pass, homebrew, your sleeping gear, and a few bucks for the 50/50 raffles. Leave the kids home. Map in July’s newsletter.
